Amy FlattNo Roots

Follower of Jesus, wife of Scott, and mother of five, Amy Flatt was born and raised in Florence, Alabama. She has a Master's degree in business administration but when she met the love of her life at age twenty-five, she moved to Tampa and became a stay-home mom. She spends her days cleaning, exercising, cooking, and homeschooling her two youngest children. (Although now she needs readers to see their schoolwork!) She loves fall weather in north Alabama, coffee, her morning quiet time, vintage furniture, and reading by the pool.  Amy believes in prayer, counseling, vulnerability, and belly-laughs.

Jenny TharpShallow Roots

Jenny Tharp and her husband, Morgan Tharp, recently moved to Tampa after living in Indianapolis, Indiana for 33 years. They served in the Lord’s church at Trader’s Point there where they raised their 3 daughters – Lauren Reagan, Jessie Tharp, & Rachel Soto – who all live in Tampa.
Jenny has always been passionate about teaching and encouraging women and children to love, serve, & obey God. She has helped to develop bible class curriculums, teaching tools, and women’s studies. She continues to both teach and learn about God’s Word. Besides being a homemaker for her family, Jenny has spent much of her time volunteering for organizations and has been the director of the Florida College Ohio Camp for over 15 years. She is grateful for the family and friends who have helped to shape and sharpen her to be more fervent every day in her relationship with God.
